No bad weather. Only bad gear.

For Alaskan Businesses

AI Outfitter for Alaskan Businesses

Most businesses don't fail at AI because AI is hard, although it can be. They fail because they picked a tool before they understood their terrain. They solved for software when they should have been solving for pain. They chased the headlines and didn’t start with the heart of their business. Ultimately, you can say that they skipped the gear check and headed out anyway — and got stuck.

Aurora Futures Lab exists to be your AI outfitter. Not your IT department. Not an offshored tech support call center. Not someone who hands you something you don't understand. Our goal is different. I want to be your outfitter — someone who helps you read the terrain, choose the right gear, and build the capability to keep going long after our work together is done. Our goal is that by the end of our work together, you won't need me anymore. That's the point.

Why me

In my day job I lead AI enablement strategy for a global organization — building the frameworks, designing the learning, and coaching the teams. I'm not theorizing about AI adoption. I'm doing it at scale right now. I hold multiple AI certifications and I work at the forefront of this field every day.

What Alaska businesses get is that same real-world expertise without the “outside” price tag or the one-size-fits-all approach. I live here. I understand the constraints, the culture, and the opportunity. And I'm genuinely invested in seeing Alaska businesses thrive in this next chapter.

What You Can expect working with an ai outfitter

  • Any Alaska business. Any size. A solopreneur figuring out how AI can drive her business forward. A mid-sized organization whose leadership team is ready to move but doesn't know where to start. If you're trying to figure out AI without getting sold something, this is for you.

I'm industry agnostic and geography is no barrier — I work virtually across Alaska and in person on the Kenai Peninsula.

  • The Outfitter Framework is my structured approach to AI enablement — grounded in proven AI risk management standards and built for the way Alaska businesses actually work. Lean teams. Real constraints. No patience for solutions that don't fit the ground you're standing on.

We don't start with tools. We start with your terrain — your pain points, your team, your risk tolerance, and your goals. Then we build from there.

    • AI Discovery Conversation — an honest look at where you are and whether we're the right fit (no charge)

    • AI Ground Rules — deciding how your team uses AI safely and responsibly before anyone touches a tool

    • Use Case Mapping — figuring out where AI can actually solve a real problem, starting with your biggest pain points

    • AI Learning Strategy — a practical plan for building your team's AI capability grounded in proven frameworks

    • Pilot Planning & Debrief — test one thing, learn from it, decide whether to go further before committing more resources

    • Ongoing Advisory Coaching — a trail check-in for when you're moving but want a second set of eyes

    • AI Playbook — a downloadable self-guide for solopreneurs ready to move on their own

  • What working with me looks like:

    1. Discovery Conversation — we read the terrain together and figure out whether we're the right fit. No charge, no pitch.

    2. Outfitter Plan — I build your customized roadmap covering ground rules, use case mapping, and AI learning strategy.

    3. Move forward equipped — pilot planning, debrief, and ongoing trail check-ins available as you scale.
